Greetings and welcome to my site. As the subtitle says, it is about technology and potentially other things. As a disclaimer to the readers, I am a big fan of science fiction. Novels from Douglas Adams have always been among my favourite.

I currently live on the surface of planet Earth, quite possibly somewhere within the North American continent. I have been using (and breaking) computers since the mid 90s. At a young age, I was using the MS-DOS operating system and I have ruined many disk partitions. Since then, GNU/Linux distributions have gradually been my go to operating system for various reasons.

I have worked in web operations and security operations for a number of years and learned a few tricks along the way.

This site was originally created because I wanted to try the Hugo static site generator. It is very pleasant to use, pleasant enough to migrate old content that I have laying around from various places to this new site. It is also a place where I can easily access my notes.

I chose a picture of the universe captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope as my site’s logo because I have always been fascinated by space exploration. The image can be found here. Astute readers will notice the domain for this site was registered on the date of the first scheduled launch date of Artemis 1.

Maybe you will find something here that is interesting.
